Wedding Photography I’m lovin it’ _ Be Careful #2
Be careful of weddings! Wikipedia says: “A wedding is the ceremony in which two people are united in marriage or a similar institution”… however its not as simple as it sounds when you are photographing it :) You want to learn some fancy special tricks how to make wonderful photos? Let me show you some situations/photos which happened to me during last year… (here you can find the first part Wedding Photography I’m lovin it’ _ start #1)
Be careful of random people in photos!
Be careful of photographers! you know if you cant find or afford a good photographer, just make it by yourself! If i ever will marry somebody im going to photograph my wedding by myself.
Be careful of gravity! If your models are flying away, just fix them with help of some car, or other stuff.
If you see double, maybe you have already to much alchohol inside… if not than you can also use this effect for some surreal compositions.
Be careful of only looking down, look upside sometime… I must say i really like that fancy old streets and buildings in vienna city.
Be careful of Horses, sometime they want to eat your flowers!
Be careful of forgetting your lens (that black thing in the left corner) somewhere in the room! However for real photographers new fancy nikkor 85mm f1.4 looks much better than any wedding dress :)
Be careful! Photograph the right bride… the real one…
Be careful! sometimes people hiding their faces and closing their eyes! photograph them anyway!
Be careful! Tourists will find you everywhere!
Don’t be afraid of looking scary and crazy…
go up to get the best view!
Going up helps you keeping the background simple.
Wideangle Lens + Some fine Architecture = fancy photo.
The day before wedding? Look for some details which happened before, look for the story!
stay cool
i really liked that moment… when two austrian ladies who were just random walking in the forest said us that face of the bride is very important for the photo… i said that dress is enough… they were pretty shocked and staid there till we made the photo… photo was without face… who knows maybe this moment changed the life of that two ladies…
Car can also be a good place for shootings.
open your eyes and mind for details!
People are somehow always kissing during the wedding… hm…
you see… always… and yeh dont forget to use stairs…
Be careful of stepping on the flowers of the bride! Iev done it on that wedding… flower was pretty dead, but it was a nice photo.
Be careful of dogs
and random Teenagers…
Be careful of inception! dont be afraid to photograph against the sun.
flying things are making people happy.
Be careful of DJs under 16…
Be careful any painter can’t replace photographer…
Be careful of sleeping during portrait session! But Coffee helps ;)

i have a tradition to make photos in old photoautomat in vienna with most of the people…
at least they will have 4 photos on the end of the session :)

Be careful of crazy hair-dressers…
Look for something new!
Be careful of Love… no : ) just a joke…
Let them run! its gonna be for sure a good photo.

Be careful… if its not a trash the dress session…
and yeh on the end be careful of winter weddings….
True photography needs a lot of love…Â if your photos are not perfect now, maybe you should try it with such selfmade heart filter, or read this blog one more time ;)

there are exhibitions in europe sometime… im actually open for cooperation with galleries, because have no time to organize everything by myself…
