Crazy times and crazy stuf… Why people are making photos like this one?
It was some years ago at the beginning of my photoeducation, fresh crazy mind and not a lot of sleep (actually nothing changed till now). During first weeks we were spending a lot of time in museums, looking at old pictures of old masters. And one of our first projects in the history of art lesson was to choose one of the pictures in the “kunsthistorisches museum” (Museum of Art History) and make our own photointerpretation of the picture. TEDx Pannonia – Nice Ideas and Fancy People
Maybe you already know TED (Technology Entertainment Design), TEDx is a smaller event of this conference, and for the first time it was organized in Austria, and got the name TEDxPannonia. As oh!photography was the official partner of the Conference, here is a small photoreport about that event and some cool speakers with Ideas Worth Spreading… hehe sounds like advertising, lets see how the blogentry is going to be : )
Some days in Tirol – IdeenAlm
Somehow im traveling a lot, but i only realize my travels after i postworked some photos as they are pretty short. I must say that im not a very big fan of mountains, dont know if mountains feel the same about me, but some days ago i was in Tirol and it was nice time with not a lot of internet but more nature, good food and nice people. IdeenAlm was the projekt where i was a guest, the idea is pretty simple, some people come and go to Alpine hut during some weeks stay 2 or 3 days and the team that is living there spends some time with them speaking abut sustainable development and future (a lot of fancy words in one sentence). It sounds very official but from the side it looks like, somebody just making vacations in the alpine hut, and having a lot of guests there : )
Playing with Views
What i like about photography, is the fact that you can play with imagination of other people converting 3d world in 2d images. However its not an easy process, and if you want to create something good you need at least a good idea and enough time to work. The photo above, is from the last shooting with young graphicdesigners from vienna. Benni+Oli+Daniel=TypischBeton (TypicallyConcrete). Everything begun as i have had the idea to make some series with graphicdesigners, as there are a lot of them in my life… And before starting it i decided to make a tryout, and the boys from beton where very cooperative, however you should never forget that graphicdesigners are very busy people, hehe the same as photographers. But after some weeks of writing emails and calling eachother we found some sunny day to make a shooting. (» Weiterlesen…)
